NTPC :- The disinvestment programme seems to be finally moving with the government on Thursday clearing the sale of 9.5 per cent stake in electricity generation giant NTPC to raise around Rs 13,000 crore and provide boost to the selloff process.
Rural Electrification Corporation :- The company is planning to raise around Rs 5,000 crore via tax free bonds in FY13, say reports. The company is likely to issue non-convertible bonds of Rs1,000 crore each. The tenure of bonds is expected to be 10-15 years.
